Does what it says

Ive experimented with several portfolio tracking apps and Portfolio Mobile is the best Ive tried. It does what it says.

Unlike some apps, it allows direct download from your financial institutions. Another awesome feature is that it displays performance from YTD as well as over 1, 2, 3, 5 years as well as over your accounts lifetime. All are available on a per portfolio and all portfolio basis. It boggles my mind as to why other apps dont do this.

Regarding other reviewers who claim registration with a third party is required to use the app are simply wrong. The app works just fine without it. The online syncing feature is used for syncing between other computers and iOS devices. Its also used to export your data. Log in credentials for your accounts not stored on the web but in your computers keychain. (I asked the developer about this.)

Also, OFX is not required. CSV works as well, which I prefer because it is readable by Excel and Numbers.
